Nathanaël Mägli completed a one-year intensive training course in musical theatre at the American Musical Theatre Academy (now ICMT) in London in 2015/16. His roles in local productions include the Beast (BEAUTY AND THE BEAST) and Franklin Shepard (MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG).

Since 2017, he has been a permanent ensemble member of the annual musical tour LIFE ON STAGE, which has taken him across Switzerland and into Germany. He also collaborated with writer Beat Müller on FILIUS.

Since 2019, Nathanaël has appeared regularly in Maya Heusser’s productions, including SURPRISED BY HOPE (Max), KÜSTENPFAD (Philipp), EDEN NOW (Andreas), and in 2026 the world premiere of NENN MICH EINFACH MO (Karlo). In 2022, he appeared in the ensemble and as Cover Aquilon in SPACE DREAM (MAAG Halle Zurich).

Further engagements include POP-ORATORIUM #HIMMELREICH (Marc, Barclays Arena Hamburg, Messe Erfurt), HEIDI (ensemble, Walensee-Bühne), KREUZWEISE (Explo 2025, as Simon of Cyrene), and CHAPLIN (ensemble, Walensee-Bühne). Beyond musical theatre, he is also heard regularly as a soloist in a wide range of settings; his collaboration with Leah Lisa Leuenberger gave rise to the programme LEAH, NATE & THE PIANO. Since 2023, he has also served as vocal director for LIFE ON STAGE.
